Legacy Estate & Elder Law of Louisiana, LLC in Prairieville, LA is excited to announce that attorney Lisa L. Henson has joined the firm.
Lisa L. Henson is an attorney practicing in the areas of Estate Planning and Estate Administration (Successions and Trust Administration). Originally from Bunkie, Louisiana, Lisa graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in English in 1990, and she received her law degree from Baylor University School of Law in 1993.
A former Texas attorney, she began her legal career as an assistant district and county attorney, prosecuting misdemeanor and juvenile cases. She has previously worked with New York Life Insurance’s Nautilus Group, providing guidance on estate and business planning to agents with high net worth clients, and with U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management as a trust officer and a trust information specialist. She has now returned to her home state to do what she envisioned herself doing when she started law school.
Lisa is married to Brian Henson, and they have two boys, ages 14 and 7 and they live in West Baton Rouge Parish. Lisa is a very active member of the Church at Addis and enjoys adventures with her family, playing the piano, writing, baking, and reading mystery novels.
