Workshop Wednesdays at Legacy
This workshop covers the most important things you need to know about to help a loved one who does not have capacity in Louisiana. We will discuss the requirements for determining capacity, the legal effects of an interdiction, what the process looks like for you and your loved one who lacks capacity, as well as the duties of the person responsible for the tutor or interdict’s care. As a part of this workshop, we will also cover the information you will need to gather to prepare you for your first meeting with an attorney and provide you with the tools necessary to gather that information.
Attendees can join in person at Legacy Estate and Elder Law, or virtually over Zoom.
